Happy New Year! I hope you all are having an amazing start to 2018! Life is always crazy over in our house allll year long! Did you make New Years Resolutions? Have you been sticking to them?
Organizing life was one of my tops goals for 2018 and I can say I already feel as though I am winning! Yay!! If you follow me on Instagram then you saw that pretty sweet planner that I got. Seriously, that planner will be my life this year.
Some people prefer to keep life organized on their phones or electronically. I personally love and thrive off of a paper planner. Plus they are super fun and customizable. If you remember listening to be rant about New Years Resolutions then you know that this was the best move I could have done. If not, trust me when I say (hopefully) I will be one of the most organized people this year. 🙂
This LivingWell Planner has everything I want in a planner. In the first couple of pages it even gives you step by step instructions on how to use each page. This can come in handy if you get stuck with some of the other pages in the planner.
Once you get past the instructions there are a few pages that let you goal plan for the year. This is fun because whatever your goals are for the entire year or whatever you want to accomplish this year you can write it down and make a plan for executing to make sure you crush those goals! They can be work goals, fitness goals, personal goals, you name it. Literally, this part is amazing. This quote has always stuck with me..
“If you fail to plan, then you plan to fail”
I’m not sure who ever said that but it was a quote that was highly used by a boss that I once had and it has never left me. It’s so true though. You can have dreams and goals all day long. Unless you actually write them down with a plan and look at them constantly you will never accomplish them. With or without a planner- go write down your goals!! Go plan!! Or plan to fail..
There is also a year at glance where you can write down a few things under each month for what you want to see accomplished. This is fun to be able to look back on at the end of the year to see how great your year actually was!
Once you get into the tabbed sections of the planner (these are your months) these are so thorough. You start the month off my again writing your goals for the month. I really can’t stress how important it is to write down what you want. If you don’t want to call them goals thats fine, go ahead and call them whatever you want that motivates you to crush them! You have your goals for growth, fun, healthy and fitness, home improvements, finance, and people to connect with. Seems overwhelming right? These are just quick little notes for you to make.
You also have your month at a glance where you can jot down quick notes for each day if you want. This gives you a quick overall view of the month. I have always looked for a planner that has this. For me its a must.
Then…You get to budgeting. This. This is what I needed most this year. That was one of my resolutions and I will stick to it. (ask me in December and we can see how off track I got lol) This budget seriously has everything you could possible need or want in a budget. It is always right there! It makes it so difficult to STRAY from the budget/plan.
A couple months ago I made my own “list planner” I needed something that broke down my day so I could get more accomplished each day rather than procrastinating. Well guess what! Its right here, right in this ahhmazing planner. You get to break down each day plus write your top 3 must do’s for each day ANDDDDD meal plan! Yup, you can meal plan in this planner too!!! Of course, that was another resolution that I had as well.
Go ahead, ask me how well I have stuck to these resolutions! I can 100% verify that we have NOT eaten out so far in 2018. I won’t say we haven’t spent the same amount of money but we are on our way to a house full of healthier Felton’s! Hahaha.
Seriously, if you don’t already have a LivingWell planner you should definitely get one. It is absolutely worth every penny if you want to stick to your yearly, monthly, or daily plans. I opted to get a kit which came with the planner, a bag, a daily and weekly planning notepads, stickers (fun!!) a coffee cup and a couple of pens. You don’t really need all this but I couldn’t help myself. I need to be all in hahaha.
Do you have a favorite planner? Do share! I always planner shop before getting a new one.
