Hey Hey!
I have to tell you what happened…Last night I went to brush MeMe’s hair and boyyyy oh boy was it a hot mess! Not because we don’t take care of it, trust me- we certainly do! She has just been in the pool and the lake so much that she had a lot starting to build up on top of some drying out from the sun.
Usually in the summer we use a certain shampoo and a different one in the winter. We can’t be the only people who change hair products with the seasons… In the summertime we always always always use Paul Mitchell shampoo Three. I just love this shampoo- it helps remove impurities that have built up. You know, chlorine! No green hair for us from swimming!
The Paul Mitchell Shampoo three is so gentle on the girls hair and mine that even though its deep cleaning it doesn’t seem to dry our hair out any more. Win all around! No tears from them and happy clean hair on my end!!
So… we have just been so busy that I hadn’t picked up a bottle of this magic yet. This morning I headed out to the beauty supply store to grab some. I always seem to get sucked in when I go there. I am that person who has to try out all the new fads and anything else you tell me I should try. I don’t alwayyyss love everything but at least I try them. As I was walking around the isles to check out what was on sale and grabbing a few other things that I needed I picked up the “Swimmers Wellness Collection”. I thought since Brian is away tonight, MeMe and I could try it out and see how we like it. The kit came with Shampoo, Conditioner and some dissolving crystals. I’m pretty excited to try this out! We have well water and some times I feel as though that contributes to extra build up in our hair. Or..maybe I am just crazy hahaha.
I think I’m most excited to try out this new power tool that I grabbed! I love to curl my hair with my curling iron and I love to use my curling iron as a “curling wand”. This is called the CURLBAR by hot tools. It’s supposed to be less strain on your arms for easier curling. I’ll let you know how that goes… I seriously hope its easier because my arms get so tired when Im “wanding” (is that even a word? It is now!) Can you believe I also had to grab bobby pins? Who runs out of bobby pins? Am I the only one who finds them all over the house? I swear when I don’t need to find a bobby pin I see them everywhere- in the car, on the floor, in the bathrooms, on the counters, any place you can think. That is, until I actually need one! A box of 700 should last a few weeks right?
Now I need to go test out this new power tool…Let’s hope I don’t end up with burns all over my hands from it…hehehe
What is your go-to shampoo? Do you have a special brand that you love to help remove build-up and chlorine?
