Isn’t fall the most perfect time of the year? Some days you can still get away with wearing your flip-flops and sandals other days you get to wear those super cute booties you bought on sale at the end of last year. Those crisp mornings are just so refreshing. Although the most days you do need to dress in layers since you never know what the day will bring you. Hot one minute cold the next. You just never know.
I’ve put together five fall must-have outfits for you. You can wear these any place, date night, errands, apple picking, you name it you can wear it. I’ve been shopping online a whole lot more lately because I can’t stand standing in line waiting to go into a store and wearing a mask. It’s just not my idea of a good time. I tend to get frustrated going on shopping. Unless it’s a Target run. I don’t seem to get as frustrated going to Target.

I love this outfit. It’s super cute and makes you feel put together. This is the perfect example of wearing layers for fall. The cardigan can be taken off and then you are left with a cute top and jeans. The booties dress it up a bit more rather than wearing a pair of sneakers or sandals.
Since I’m only 5’1 I usually have to fold my jeans up to make them short enough. Thank goodness that’s the style nowadays. The light pink cardigan is lightweight and soft. Perfect for early fall. You can find it here if your interested.
This white and black stripped top is so cute! It has a button on the back for the neck and super lightweight. Not only can you wear this on the weekends or afterwork but you can wear it to work if you need to dress up! Change out the pants and you are all set for a day at work. Thats the nice part of this outfit, it has multiple uses. Again, just change out the bottoms for work with a skirt or black pants and you are presentable for a meeting by day and casual by night.
How cute is this black and white flannel? I’m obsessed with my flannels. You can easily throw a flannel on to change the look of any outfit. Change out the jeans for leggings and you have a super comfy outfit for Sunday Funday! If you are going apple picking or just running errands this is a go to outfit.
If you are going to get the flannel you want to size up. I say this because it’s so comfy your going to want to wear it with more than just a pair of jeans. If you do decide to wear it with a pair of leggings then you will wish you had sized up one. Tuck it in the front with a pair of jeans to be a bit more put together and add the vest. This vest is so lightweight but still keeps you warm on those cool crisp mornings.
It’s nice to have a vest in place of a jacket. You don’t feel so restricted. Maybe that’s just me? I also feel restricted in my winter jackets that’s one reason why I don’t care for winter too much. I don’t want to wear a winter jacket but I know they keep me warm when Im the person who’s always freezing.
To change the look of this type of outfit you can wear booties or boots. This can definitely dress it up even more. For me, I just prefer to wear sneakers when I’m out running errands. Plus I love these sneakers so much I have them in multiple colors. They are lightweight and feel like you are walking on air. I’m pretty sure my bestie would agree since she also has them in multiple colors and wears them daily.
This fleece…its a must have! You will be wearing this all fall and winter. It’s the softest coziest fleece you will ever find. I’ve been on the hunt for a new one and guess who came through? Amazon. Yup! Slightly addicted to Amazon right now with their clothes. This comes in a variety of colors and they are all so cute.
It runs true to size. I don’t suggest you go up a size because there is plenty of room. You’ll still be able to wear long sleeves underneath it come winter but for fall its a great fleece to put on to stay warm during those cold softball or baseball games you are about to sit through this fall season. If you go with the the white/grey color like I did your mask will most likely always match it. Wait, I just referenced you wearing a mask like it’s the new style.
Well…friend, I hate to break it to you but the masks aren’t going away anytime soon if you live in New York or most other states in the country. Might as well get a few cute ones. Anyways, this fleece is a must have. I dressed it up a bit with the booties and jeans but its also cute with leggings and sneakers.
Ok, but really you can never ever go wrong with a pair of colored pants. They change the look of your entire outfit. You feel more dressed up and put together. I really love the Pixie Pants from Old Navy. They are super comfy with a good amount of stretch. You don’t even feel like you want to rip them off at the end of the day. Thats how comfy they are!
This is one way to get another wear out of your jean jacket to. I’m not a big jean on jean person so you won’t find me wearing a jean jacket with a pair of jeans. Now, give me a pair of colored pants and I’ll wear the jean jacket all day. I’m wearing a silk tank with this. I do feel the tank pulls everything together here.
Now, I did offset with my favorite casual boat shoes. I’m slightly obsessed with Sperry shoes as well. They just fit wide feet so nicely. I know everyone loves their converse but they are way to narrow for me. This outfit is super cute for a fall date night (If that’s even aloud where you are located). What are you waiting for? Go get yourself some colored pants!
Ok…I saved my favorite for last. This sweater, there’s so much to say. First, its so darn cute! Second, it’s so darn comfy! Guess what? It’s from Amazon. No joke I’m telling you Amazon is killing it in the wardrobe area for me recently. I have truly loved everything I’ve gotten the past few months.
This color block sweater comes in a few colors and runs true to size. You do not need to size up if you plan to wear it with leggings. This sweater will be on constant rotation for me. I may even order a few more colors. I do plan to wear this to work in the colder months too, that’s how awesome it is.
If you are going to a friends house in the evening grab this sweater and be cozy and cute while your hanging outside by the fire. Just me? I can’t be the only one who enjoys a nice fall fire. I’ve already gotten so much wear out of this sweater and I know you will to!
