It’s no secret that I wear makeup every.single.day! It goes way back to being in beauty school. We were graded on our hair, makeup, and nails daily. That’s not to say there aren’t days that I go natural. But those are far and few between just because it has become a part of my every day routine.
However, I don’t always want to spend a ton of money on make up. I have tried so many products some I love and some I don’t. I don’t want to look like I am wearing cake all over my face haha so I am always on the look out for products that are light and easy to blend. A few years ago I came across e.l.f. cosmetics. I have been hooked ever since! First, the price point is AMAZING on their products and I just love them. The last few months  I have been branching out to try other full coverage coverups like bare minerals but I just couldn’t seem to make it work for me.
I love how the cover up last all day and still looks natural at the end of the day. It doesn’t melt off my face in the hot summer and it doesn’t dry my skin out in the winter. It blends, it stays, what more can you ask for? I do combine buff and porcelain on occasion. This is more dependent on how much I have been out in the sun. Usually it’s buff in the summer and porcelain in the winter ( You know when we are all ghosts because we haven’t seen the sun in months).
I even use el.f. cosmetics when I am doing make-up for a wedding. Crazy right? You certainly do not need to purchase super expensive products to create the perfect flawless look. I love the coverup, bronzer, blush, and ohhh their brushes! I use their brushes daily!! I used to just use my hands to slather cover up on my face. Then I came across brushes and thought I’d give them a try. Yup, I love them and it keeps my hands clean and extra bacteria from my skin.
It may seem like a ton of work to apply every day but it’s really quick. It usually takes me about 10 minutes to do my make up every day. Although maybe I should actually set a timer tomorrow to see how long it actually takes. I’m just so used to the routine that I feel it takes no time at all. It may take you longer if you are just starting out or learning how to apply. Every one is different.
